The 9th annual Australian backcountry festival has kicked off, with workshops today and the opening party at Zirky’s tonight.

Though the snow may be low, the vibes are still high and there will be a jam-packed schedule of activities for festival weekend.

The organising committee has been working incredibly hard to fine tune the tours given the lack of good touring terrain that’s available, and additional workshops have been added to the program. The three nights of parties will be great.

You really don’t want to miss the biggest backcountry event of the year.
